The global microbial ecology community is heading to Tāmaki Makau Rau Auckland! The 20th International Symposium on Microbial Ecology (ISME20) brings together over 2,000 scientists, researchers, and biotech leaders from around the world to share cutting-edge science.

Five decades after the very first ISME symposium took place in New Zealand in 1977, the conference returns to showcase breakthrough research across environmental microbiology, microbiome dynamics, host-microbe interactions, and planetary health.
