The premier gathering of combat veterans, military families, and supporters returns! The 127th VFW National Convention brings together thousands of delegates representing Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Posts and Auxiliary units from across the globe.

As the highest governing body of the organization, national delegates will convene to vote on critical organizational priorities, establish national legislative agendas advocating for veterans’ healthcare and benefits, and elect national leadership for the coming year.

Where and when did the event take place?
The convention took place July 24–30, 2026, at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center in Reno, Nevada.
Why was the location changed from Salt Lake City?
The National Council of Administration voted to change the location and timeline to better accommodate logistics and scheduling.
