he SpaceTrek Space Systems Engineering Summer Program is a dynamic workshop designed specifically for young women entering grades 9 through 12, as well as those transitioning into their freshman year of college. Hosted by Morehead State University, this residential program takes place at the Indian Centre for Space Physics located in Kolkata, India. Participants will have the unique opportunity to engage in hands-on learning experiences that focus on the fundamentals of space systems engineering, an essential field for future leaders in STEM.
During the program, attendees will reside comfortably in Craft Tower, which is part of the Craft Academy for Excellence in Science & Mathematics. The academy serves as a hub for innovation and excellence in education, providing students with a supportive environment to explore their interests in science and mathematics. This summer program not only promotes academic growth but also encourages networking and collaboration among like-minded peers, fostering a community of aspiring engineers and scientists.
